Gravity Screening and Lump Breaking Equipment

Stationary gravity screener allows properly sized material to free flow through screen decks

Lumps ride on top of the screen deck and are diverted for size reduction. Blending transition combines flow streams

Gravity Screening and Lump Breaking

This gravity screening system was developed for high volume applications. The screening chute is designed with a multiple section, adjustable, removable grid. Access to the screening chamber is provided through a hinged door on the front of the screener. All units are constructed of abrasion resistant carbon steel.

The Gravity Screeners are designed to be mated to Machine and Process Design single rotor crushers or dual rotor crushers, depending on the application.

Integrated Bypass Chute

Our newly designed Dual Rotor Crusher with an integrated product bypass chute allows this machine to provide additional processing capacity without increasing the units physical size or horsepower requirements. The bypass chute allows fines and lump free product to be diverted from the grinding chamber resulting in greater overall processing efficiency. We have also developed a light duty inlet screening transition to work in conjunction with this machine, allowing us to keep the overall package height to a minimum.

Integrated Air Slide Crusher

The Machine and Process Design Side Entry Single Rotor Crusher is designed for in-line air slide applications where product lump breaking is needed.

This machine is constructed with a split grid sizing device. The side cover can be removed without tools for grinding chamber inspection, and sizing devices can be easily changed with minimal tool requirements. The side covers are secured with hand knobs, and safety limit switches are provided for automatic shut–off and operator protection.
