Greetings From Tom Moen
Tom comes to us with over 20 years of sales experience, most of which was working in the Power Transmission arena. As an outside salesman, Tom has had the chance to tour facilities in just about every corner of industry and manufacturing. His technical abilities, and knowledge of PT Components have been a solid foundation and a great complement to MPD’s equipment.
Moen said of his time at MPD so far “I have been fascinated by the very challenging subject of size reduction, and the complex interactions that are taking place in such a seemingly simple machine. I have spent the last eight months trying to immerse myself as much as possible in every aspect of our production, testing, product offerings, and particle size reduction. MPD’s long standing reputation for excellence, and stout, powerful machines that last decades, is something that I have been aware of for years. We are a company that employs real, honest craftsmen to build our equipment, and we never take quality for granted. I am very pleased to be a part of such an organization and look forward to each day’s new challenge.”
In his spare time Tom enjoys fishing, hunting, painting, and playing guitar. He has three young daughters, and a very patient wife.
Dairy Grade Hammermill
MPD’s Dairy Grade Rigimill™ Hammermill features a sanitary, USDA approved design. Access to the sizing screen is gained through a large door on the front of the mill, and allows generous entry for cleaning and maintenance. There are no dead zones or traps, and all hammers and fasteners are gasket sealed. Tool-less air purge shaft seals, replaceable hammers, and high-quality power train components make this an easy to maintain piece of processing equipment that can provide the solution to your sanitary, or dairy needs.
